Location: Montreal
Take on a dynamic role as a Financial Controller focused on accounting leadership and financial controls. This full-time ongoing contract is ideal for candidates fluent in English and French.
In this position, you will oversee essential accounting operations while working closely with the Finance Director. The Financial Controller's responsibilities include managing the accounting department, ensuring compliance, and enhancing internal controls for improved financial practices. Strong leadership and proficiency in financial reporting are key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise all daily accounting activities
• Ensure compliance with ISO procedures
• Validate financial transactions and accounting entries
• Prepare and review comprehensive monthly financials
• Manage petty cash and conduct reconciliations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• Professional designation such as CA, CGA, or CMA preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting supervisory role
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken
