Bilingual AP Consultant
Role Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual AP Consultant with experience in Accounts Payable, Lease Administration, and Real Estate Accounting to manage lease-related tax invoices, payment obligations, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and reconcile lease-related tax invoices from municipalities and landlords.
Review lease agreements to validate payment obligations, critical dates, escalations, and financial terms
.Maintain the Master Tax Tracker
, including amendments and adjustments.Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and landlord inquiries.
Conduct semi-annual reviews to confirm all municipal tax invoices have been received and processed.
Support lease audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and lease agreements.
Track critical installment and payment due dates
.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external landlords on payment and tax matters.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis for leased properties.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting requirements.
Experience in Accounts Payable, Lease Administration, Real Estate Accounting, or Property Administration
.Knowledge of commercial leases, realty tax invoices, and lease-related financial processes
.Experience with
AP/ERP systems or lease management platforms
, such as Yardi, MRI, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar.Experience supporting corporate real estate or property management operations
.Familiarity with IFRS 16 and/or ASC 842
.Strong analytical, reconciliation, and attention-to-detail skills.
