Senior Internal Audit Training Advisor

Shape auditor development at Desjardins through training design, knowledge sharing, and clear guidance on complex internal audit matters.

This Senior Advisor role supports the Desjardins Group Monitoring Office’s Professional Practice and Operational Support department. You will develop training activities, professional frameworks, and audit tools while helping teams apply consistent practices. The position requires internal audit or risk management experience, strong communication, and the ability to influence others.

• Design training activities that develop auditors’ expertise and skills
• Facilitate learning sessions supporting professional development
• Explain complex audit concepts in simple terms
• Support teams applying established audit practices
• Share knowledge and advance continuous improvement initiatives

• Eight years of relevant experience minimum
• Significant experience in internal audit or risk management
• Experience developing training programs or professional frameworks
• Ability to influence and engage others effectively
• French knowledge and familiarity with IIA standards
