Apply advanced Excel and revenue recognition expertise as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting complex portfolios for BGIS in Markham or Toronto. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on accurate financial operations.
The Senior Financial Analyst supports multiple portfolios, client contracts, and business units across the full accounting cycle. Responsibilities include month-end close, project accounting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting. The role requires GAAP knowledge, strong reconciliation skills, and experience with complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Review project revenue, margins, and unbilled backlog
- Prepare percentage-of-completion revenue recognition entries
- Record journal entries and reconcile general ledgers
- Complete project financial closeout and reconciliation
- Prepare client account reports and management analyses
- Three to six years of progressive accounting experience
- University graduation or professional certification
- Completed CGA, CMA, or CPA designation program
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems knowledge
- Understanding of GAAP and project accounting
Support BGIS portfolios through revenue recognition, reconciliations, forecasting, and advanced financial analysis in Markham or Toronto.
