Senior Financial Reporting Accountant in Montreal offers hybrid work focused on accurate reporting, complex reconciliations, and month-end close ownership.
Reporting to the CFO, this hands-on senior role co-owns financial reporting and close processes. You will maintain general ledger accuracy, prepare complex journal entries, and support financial statements. The position also strengthens internal controls, documentation, and finance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex journal entries and intercompany transactions
Maintain general ledger accuracy and completeness
Prepare financial statements and management reporting
Own monthly and year-end close components
Investigate balance sheet reconciliation variances
Requirements:
Seven to ten years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Complex adjustments, reconciliations, and intercompany schedule experience
Strong Excel and ERP or finance systems experience
CPA designation preferred or required
Bring financial reporting, general ledger, and close expertise to this hybrid Montreal senior accounting position.
