Job Description

Do you have experience in administrative/office work and want to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you. The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking an administrative assistant to join our operations team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will be part of the prefal team that develops sub-assemblies for commercial aircraft for the Mirabel and Mobile (USA) sites.

In this role, you will support the department manager in monitoring daily activities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the HO's calendar and meetings, screen email and follow up on required actions
  • Monitor activities, files and requests related to the teams
  • Organize meetings, business travel and prepare appointments
  • Maintain confidential files and update financial documents, including expenses and internal records
  • Produce documents, presentations, reports and charts using office software
  • Recommend and develop process improvements and internal tools
  • Follow up on IT access requests and incidents
  • Support the management team on various projects, coordinate events and manage stationery and purchase orders
Requirements / Profile
  • College diploma in office management or equivalent
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications: word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software
  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written
  • Autonomous, proactive, solution‑oriented and willing to engage with a production/operations team and its contributors
  • Enjoy supporting employees from different departments and following up with them
  • Comfortable working in a unionized and salaried environment, providing support across multiple hierarchical levels
