Support Newborn Screening Ontario with CHEO as a Laboratory Clerk. Bring your data entry and organizational expertise to enhance newborn healthcare delivery.
In this key role, you will manage the entry and verification of patient information while assisting program staff in the efficient operation of screening services. Responsibilities include data maintenance, report generation, and contributing to quality initiatives. Collaboration and flexibility are crucial in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter patient data using specified software
• Mail reports and maintain communication with providers
• Organize and file laboratory documents effectively
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement
• Run data queries and complete updates weekly
Requirements:
• High school diploma required
• Minimum typing speed of 125 words per minute
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
• Experience with medical terminology is preferred
