The Opportunity:
We are looking to fill an opening for a Bilingual Transfers Administrator to join our Transfers team for 6 months.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Transfers, the Bilingual Transfers Administrator is responsible for daily processing of transfers, reviews and approvals and dealing with escalated items. The successful candidate is collaborative, determined to acquire knowledge and experience and has the enthusiasm and energy to work in a dynamic environment.

Process transfer in requests according to service level agreementsMonitor the transfers mailbox and collect incoming mailInitiate new manual or ATON transfers in and transfers out, including internal transfersTrack status and follow-up on initiated transfersProvide operational support for transfers to external institutionsFile completed transfer documents and shred all printed documentsReview and respond to transfers in inquiriesAssist / cover others in the Transfers Department as neededHandle special projects or other assignments as requestedRequirements
Your experience and skills:
Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experienceMinimum 1-2 years of experience in back-office administration in a financial securities firmExtremely detail oriented and accurateStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet required deadlines dailyStrong team player in the department and across departmentsStrong desire and initiative to become a subject matter expert over time and to reach out and understand the functions of other departments in OperationsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Knowledge and experience of Dataphile, Fundserv, CDS and DTCC is an assetFluency (written and spoken) in English and French is required to effectively communicate with partners, clients, and colleagues across CanadaAbility to work EST standard hoursBenefits
