You will serve as the primary contact for the Civil Estimating Department, managing the estimating inbox and directing communications. This position requires maintaining accurate bid boards, organizing tender documents, and tracking revisions and quotes. Your proactive nature and attention to detail will be essential in fostering accurate estimations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming communications for the estimating department
• Organize and maintain electronic bid folders and tender documents
• Track deadlines and new bid opportunities on the bid board
• Save and distribute supplier and subcontractor quotes
• Support estimators with general administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet changing deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Previous administrative experience in construction preferred
• Familiarity with electronic tendering systems an asset
