Pay Rate: $32 - $39 per hour
Mark Motors Group – Audi West Ottawa is hiring a Licensed Automotive Technician to join our service team. We are looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented professional with strong diagnostic and repair skills who is committed to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Inspection
Review work orders and discuss required repairs or diagnostic steps with the supervisor or service advisor.
Inspect engines in operation, perform road tests, and evaluate automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic equipment and testing devices to identify and isolate faults.
Inspect and test mechanical units such as engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems to locate malfunctions.
Repairs & Component Replacement
Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components across major automotive systems, including fuel, brake, steering, suspension, engine, drivetrain, emission control, exhaust, cooling, climate control, electrical, and electronic systems.
Repair or replace defective mechanical units or components using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair equipment.
Maintenance & System Testing
Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune‑ups.
Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer performance specifications.
Confirm diagnostic findings and repair decisions with the supervisor when required.
Compliance, Licensing & Professional Standards
Maintain all required valid licenses and certifications for the role, including but not limited to:
Technician Certificate, Ozone Depletion Certificate, valid driver’s license, and WHMIS certification.
Adhere to manufacturer standards, dealership procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
Valid Automotive Service Technician License (310S or equivalent). Must be fully licensed and in good standing with the relevant provincial or state authority.
Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience
Proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with automotive tools and equipment
Comfortable working with both manual and computerized systems.
