Location: Blainville
YOUR CHALLENGES
You will report to the Category Management Director and supports her in the overall management of product categories, including the management of existing product lines and the development of new products.
You will be responsible for carrying out the category management process for one or more specific product categories.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESCategory Management Support
- Carry out the various category management activities assigned to the Category & Commercialization Coordinator;
- Execute approved action plans and initiatives to achieve category objectives;
- Contribute to the preparation of documents, analyses, and recommendations to support decision-making and category development.
Product Launch and Commercialization
- Participate in the planning and coordination of product launches;
- Execute launch activities in accordance with established guidelines and timelines;
- Develop and maintain sales support materials and communications, including product launch documentation.
Sales Support and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with sales teams to support category development, respond to information needs, and facilitate the adoption of commercialization tools;
- Participate in regional sales meetings, when required, to present initiatives, gather field feedback, and identify improvement opportunities;
- Execute action plans aimed at strengthening collaboration between divisions and supporting the growth of sales related to 360° solutions;
- Participate in sales development initiatives in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
Pricing, Web, and Operational Coordination
- Submit requests for product additions or removals from the website and assist the web team, as needed, with updates to product pages;
- Assist the Pricing team in competitive price monitoring, the annual review of pricing structures, and the implementation of required adjustments based on results compared to the initial financial strategy;
- Support the Pricing team in addressing day-to-day pricing issues.
- Achievement of annual category objectives;
- Completion of assigned category management process activities.
- 2 to 3 years of work experience;
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong knowledge of Excel;
- Knowledge of Power BI is considered an asset;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Eagerness and ability to learn and absorb both general and technical information;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
