As a Facility Manager, you'll be deeply involved in both the renovation phase and the subsequent maintenance of the laboratory space. This role calls for a well-rounded tradesperson who can confidently handle various tasks while also managing specialist contractors. Your hands-on contribution will ensure the facility's efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hands-on maintenance and construction
• Supervise subcontractors for specialized tasks
• Maintain clear records of building operations
• Coordinate procurement of construction materials
• Handle day-to-day facility maintenance issues
Requirements:
• Journeyperson certification or substantial hands-on experience
• Minimum 5 years in construction or laboratory settings
• Experience leading subcontractor efforts
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Commitment to obtaining necessary clearances
