Lead capital infrastructure initiatives with Kwanlin Dün First Nation as a Major Capital Projects Officer. This role demands project coordination expertise, focusing on planning and execution in a supportive capacity.
In this mid-level position, you will assist the Major Capital Projects Manager in delivering crucial capital and infrastructure projects. You’ll manage smaller to medium-sized projects while overseeing procurement processes, consultant coordination, and construction oversight. This role operates with moderate independence and is aimed at supporting internal capacity during a pivotal capital delivery period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and lead capital project delivery and coordination
• Manage procurement processes and contractor relationships
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Monitor compliance with regulations and approvals
• Engage stakeholders effectively across technical and non-technical fields
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in project management or similar
• 3–5 years’ experience in project coordination
• Strong knowledge of capital project life cycles
• Experience with First Nation governments is advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle required
