Job Title: Senior Estimator – Ventilation (General Contractor)

Location: Centre-du-Québec

Do you know ventilation inside out? Do you understand the equipment, networks, mechanical constraints, and especially the real impact on a project's profitability?

A well-established company in the field of institutional construction and building mechanics is looking for a senior estimator in ventilation to join a strong and strategic team.

You will work directly under general management, alongside senior estimators in architecture and piping.

• Analyze ventilation plans and specifications (public and private tenders)

• Quantify equipment, ducts, accessories, and labor

• Understand the mechanical and logistical constraints specific to institutional projects

• Evaluate overall costs and ensure the accuracy of estimates

• Participate in bid closing meetings

• Collaborate with internal departments (architecture and piping)

• Optimize the accuracy of estimates using existing digital tools

• DEC in building mechanics, mechanical engineering, or related field

• Significant experience in ventilation estimation (ideally 8 to 10 years and +)

• Experience with a contractor specialized in ventilation

• Good understanding of institutional and public projects

• Developed site vision and sense of profitability

• Professional stability

• Advanced mastery of Excel

The ventilation department is already well-structured digitally.

We are looking for an estimator:

• Comfortable with specialized estimation software

• Able to use surface and quantity calculation tools (Revit, AutoCAD or equivalent)

• Comfortable in a structured digital environment

• Position primarily on-site

• Modern closed offices

• Estimation team composed of three disciplines

• Clear structure: 100% estimation role (no project management)

• Collaborative and dynamic environment
