Become a Video journalist for CBC/Radio-Canada in the vibrant Vaudreuil-Soulanges area. Engage local audiences and deliver news across multiple platforms in this full-time position.

In this permanent role, you'll use your creativity and reporting skills to pitch and produce stories that matter to the community. This position demands a minimum of three years' journalism experience and requires flexibility in work hours. You will manage field production independently while adhering to journalistic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pitch original news stories relevant to local audiences

• Execute field production using video, photo, and audio tools

• Assist in news gathering for the Montreal newsroom as necessary

• Apply digital best practices in storytelling ways

• Network within the community for enhanced news coverage

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant journalism qualification

• At least three years’ experience in journalism

• Strong reporting capabilities across different media

• Excellent French proficiency with English as a plus

• Valid driver’s license for work-related travel
