Driven by technical challenges, we are involved in numerous major projects particularly in public transit that will have a profound impact on sustainable mobility in Canada.

As part of our growth, LGM Canada is looking for the next Technical Writer with an expertise with S1000D
.

• Draft and update various types of documentation.
• Produce clear, concise documentation that complies with the organization’s standards, templates, and style guides.
• Gather and validate information from subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into accessible documentation.
• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in the validation process for technical documentation content.
• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical writer.
• Proficiency in the S1000D standard.
• Proficiency in the following authoring and documentation tools:
  Arbortext, Frame Maker, and XML.
• Knowledge of S1000D manual publishing tools (an asset).
• Ability to write clear, concise, and simple text to explain complex concepts.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and priority-management skills.
• Strong customer focus.
