In this senior role, you'll manage and mentor an assigned lighting team, ensuring technical excellence and artistic vision align with the Director and Lighting Supervisor’s requirements. You will translate creative demands into functional lighting rigs while maintaining consistency and quality across production. Your experience in high-end 3D software will be essential while overseeing juniors in their workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor lighting team members in achieving production goals
• Implement defined lighting rig setups from the Lighting Supervisor
• Ensure consistency and continuity in lighting across scenes
• Collaborate with Compositing and FX Supervisors to meet departmental needs
• Guide the team in creative lighting design based on director's vision
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in fine arts or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in animated film
• Expert in compositing, lighting, and color
• Proficient with Maya, Nuke, and Arnold
• Strong understanding of node-based compositing systems
