In this client-facing role, you will provide essential information about adoption procedures while showcasing the featured animals through advertising. Your tasks include responding to inquiries, maintaining the retail space, processing transactions, and offering guidance to customers on animal care practices and adoption follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and direct visitors of the Ottawa Humane Society
• Respond to phone and email inquiries promptly
• Advertise animals available for adoption on the website
• Process sales transactions in the Buddy and Belle retail store
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the adoption area
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent education
• One year of customer service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual in English and French essential
• Preferred experience in animal handling
