Position: Dental Therapist for LLRIB Community
Location: Montreal

Join LLRIB Health Services as a motivated Dental Therapist focused on enhancing oral health in the community. Engage in preventive care and restorative services at Lac La Ronge Indian Band.

We seek a self-motivated Dental Therapist dedicated to improving oral health status for all LLRIB community members. In this role, you'll deliver preventive services, diagnostic planning, and restorative treatments both for treaty and non-treaty clients. Your expertise in community outreach and education will play a vital role in our dental care program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate disease prevention strategies in the community

• Evaluate oral health needs through diagnostics

• Provide restorative dental treatments using various materials

• Organize and manage the dental team's workload

• Maintain liaison with Band Administration and related agencies

Requirements:

• Diploma in Dental Therapy, registered in good standing

• Ability to communicate in Cree is an asset

• Experience with First Nations Communities preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel
