Teaching and Mentorship
- Teach, facilitate and mentor students in learning the basic procedures for fixed prosthodontics in a simulated setting.
- Evaluate students’ assignments and provide feedback.
- Demonstrate proper technical steps to individual students when required.
- Supervise examination sessions.
- DMD from a Faculty of Dentistry.
- Experience with teaching simulation training for pre-clinical dental students in fixed prosthodontics is considered an asset for this position.
- Knowledge and experience with teaching fixed prosthodontic simulation procedures:
- Tooth preparation for crowns and bridges
- Temporary crown fabrication with PMMA and Composite
- Adjustments and cementation of crowns
- Knowledge on the use of digital scanners is an asset
