SAP Development Architect

Our Ottawa based client is seeking an experienced SAP Development Architect to join their project on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have a Canadian security clearance of at least Reliability level, with Secret preferred. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Responsibilities   Define overall development architecture, standards, and technology stack.
Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
Establish coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
Review code and technical designs for quality, performance, and compliance.
Guide development teams on architecture alignment and technical decisions.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and architectural debt.
Lead technology selection and proof-of-concept initiatives.
Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, and Dev Ops teams.
Ensure integration architecture aligns with enterprise systems.
Document architectural decisions and development guidelines.
Qualifications   Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
