Creative Assistant Designer - Menswear

Location: Montreal

Step into a vibrant menswear manufacturing environment as an Assistant Designer. This role focuses on utilizing your creativity and technical skills to innovate and support the design process.

You will collaborate with the design team while leveraging your 1-2 years of experience in apparel design, ideally with a focus on menswear. Responsibilities include creating technical sketches, managing communication with factories, and ensuring quality throughout the production cycle. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage detailed technical sketches and tech packs

• Entertain clear communication with factories/suppliers

• Prepare swatch cards to visualize fabric choices

• Track and ensure timely prototype deliveries

• Assist in fittings, sample development, and quality checks

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of apparel design experience, menswear preferred

• Strong technical skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Sharp attention to detail in design execution

• Highly organized to meet project deadlines
