We are seeking a Fit Technician responsible for developing quality garments that reflect our brand’s esthetic and quality standards.
Some ofWhat You’ll Do:
- Create initial spec based on design intent, sketch, sample and/or block pattern
- Review technical design sketches to ensure garment construction is attainable and representative of pattern
- Measure and review sample at every stage, in preparation of fit session
- Participate in fit sessions with live models or mannequin from Prototype stage to Pre-Production
- Identify fit issues and provide feedback to design during fit sessions
- Communicate corrections to factory clearly, using available tools, pattern, illustrator, excel
- Maintain accurate and up to date grading, patterns, and specs
- Ensure superior quality of garments and meet all projects deadlines
- Manage workload which may involve overlapping seasons and ensure superior quality of the garments
- Collaborate with peers in design, tech, and production
- Able to review and validate pattern
What You’ll Need:
- 7 + years of experience as a fit technician
- Knowledge of Pattern making (by hand or software) garment construction, fit and grading
- Knowledge of fabrics, wovens and knits
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Illustrator
- Knowledge of menswear and women’s wear apparel
- Outerwear and Sportswear are an asset
- Experience in Premium/Luxury a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment – able to prioritize workload
- Hand‑on approach, energetic, passionate, and results‑driven team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Attitude to problem solving without compromising style or Brand DNA integrity
- Mentor mindset – offering guidance and support to Technical Design and team members

Given the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders (co-workers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.) located in Canada outside Quebec or throughout the world. Proficiency in languages other than French (notably, English) will be an asset for the successful candidate.
