Lead Designer Position at Centric Brands

Drive impactful design initiatives as a Lead Designer at Centric Brands' Montreal office. Your experience in apparel design will influence well-known fashion labels.

As a Lead Designer, you will direct the entire design process from initial concept through to production for assigned categories within Centric Brands. You’ll leverage your technical skills and creative vision to produce cohesive and fashionable collections. Close interaction with teams will be essential to adhere to timelines and uphold quality standards in designs. Enhancing design workflow through AI will also be a key focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive market research for strategic insights

• Develop and present seasonal concepts and collections

• Utilize AI technologies to enhance design delivery

• Create detailed technical drawings and manage tech pack accuracy

• Work across departments to ensure project alignment

Requirements:

• 7-10+ years of experience in apparel design

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of PLM is beneficial

• Solid grasp of textile properties and garment construction

• Strategic collaboration and leadership skills

• Bilingual in French and English for global communication
