Nuance Medi Spa is an established luxury spa and medical-aesthetic destination in Montréal’s West Island. We are looking for a Québec-licensed physician with an active interest and experience in aesthetic medicine to join our team as Medical Director / Aesthetic Medicine Physician.

This is an opportunity to partner with an established, high-end medical spa with an existing client base, experienced nursing and aesthetic teams, and a broad range of medical-aesthetic services and technologies.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a physician who wants to take an active role in developing and overseeing the medical-aesthetic component of Nuance Medi Spa.

The role can be structured part-time and flexibly, depending on the physician’s availability and level of involvement.

The Medical Director will work collaboratively with ownership, nurses and the clinical team to ensure that medical-aesthetic services are delivered according to applicable professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical leadership and oversight for the medical-aesthetic program.
• Establish, review and maintain appropriate clinical protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with nurse injectors and other regulated healthcare professionals.
• Provide appropriate medical oversight related to aesthetic treatments and injectable services.
• Participate in the development of complication-management and emergency protocols.
• Establish appropriate physician availability and referral pathways.
• Support clinical education, training and ongoing professional development of the medical-aesthetic team.
• Participate in quality assurance and review of clinical practices.
• Support the introduction and development of new medical-aesthetic services.
• Maintain appropriate professional documentation and fulfill all applicable professional obligations.
• Work collaboratively with ownership to develop a safe, sophisticated and patient-centred medical-aesthetic environment.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a physician who:

• Holds an active licence with the Collge des mdecins du Qubec.
• Has established experience practicing aesthetic medicine.
• Has experience with or a strong understanding of injectables and medical-aesthetic procedures.
• Is comfortable working with nurse injectors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Has a strong understanding of patient safety and complication management.
• Is interested in clinical leadership, protocols and education.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Values professionalism, discretion and exceptional patient care.
• Is interested in developing a long-term relationship with an established luxury medical-aesthetic business.
• Experience with neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, laser/energy-based treatments and other aesthetic technologies is an asset.
