Personne qui assure l'éducation et la rééducation des usagers en milieu institutionnel ou externe selon les programmes d'intervention établis en collaboration avec l'équipe de professionnels en place, en vue de l'adaptation ou de la réadaptation de l'individu ou de sa réinsertion dans la société. Elle applique des techniques d'éducation en utilisant les actes de la vie quotidienne, en organisant, coordonnant et animant les activités prévues au programme, pour assurer l'apprentissage et l'acquisition d'attitudes et de comportements adéquats.

Elle observe et analyse le comportement des usagers, participe à l'évaluation de leurs besoins et de leurs capacités et note leur évolution en rédigeant les documents appropriés.

A person who ensures the education and rehabilitation of users in institutional or external settings according to established intervention programs in collaboration with the existing team of professionals, with the aim of adapting or rehabilitating the individual or reintegrating them into society. They apply educational techniques using daily life activities, organizing, coordinating, and facilitating the activities outlined in the program to ensure learning and the acquisition of appropriate attitudes and behaviors.

They observe and analyze the behavior of users, participate in assessing their needs and capabilities, and document their progress by writing the appropriate reports.

Classe 1 :
Posséder un diplôme collégial avec une concentration en techniques d'éducation spécialisées ou en réadaptation institutionnelle ou une technique d'intervention en délinquance d'une école reconnue par le ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport. Class 2 : détenir un baccalauréat en psychoéducation, en psychologie, en criminologie, en travail social ou un autre diplôme pertinent de 14 ans de scolarité reconnu par le ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport ou avoir complété cinquante pour cent (50 %) des techniques pédagogiques spécialisées ou de réadaptation institutionnelle ou une technique d'intervention en délinquance.

Bilinguisme essentiel (français anglais), parlés et écrits;
Inuktitut serait un atout Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience pertinente Avoir une bonne capacité d’adaptation à un milieu culturel différent Être sensible, compréhensif et mature et démontrer une attitude positive Être disponible pour travailler le jour, en soirée et les fins de semaine Être capable d’intervenir physiquement lors de situation de crise Accepter de participer à toute formation offerte par l'employeur ou une institution d’enseignement jugée nécessaire pour un exercice plus efficace de ses tâches et fonctions Partager ses connaissances et habilités, travailler en collaboration

Class 1:
To possess a CÉGEP diploma with a core concentration in specialised educational techniques or institutional rehabilitation or a technique in delinquency intervention from a school recognised by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport. Class 2: hold a bachelor degree in psychoeducation, psychology, criminology, social work degree or another relevant diploma of 14 years of scolarity recognized by the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport or to have completed fifty per cent (50%) of the specialised educational techniques or institutional rehabilitation or a technique in delinquency intervention.

Bilingual English and French, spoken and written.
