Job Details
Oxford Learning Barrhaven is seeking a dedicated and organized Education Director to lead and manage daily operations of our learning centre. This is an in‑person, client‑facing role that requires strong communication, leadership, and administrative skills, as well as a passion for education.

Requirements for this position include: commute to the Barrhaven location, on‑site presence (no remote or relocation package), and completion of vulnerable sector screening.

Responsibilities

Inform inquiring parents about Oxford Learning programs

Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers

Administer assessments and establish learning programs

Maintain contact with parents to discuss their child's progress

Ensure the Oxford Learning philosophy is upheld throughout the centre

Create a fun and energetic learning environment daily

Master the Oxford Learning Teaching philosophy and coach other teaching members of the team

Qualifications
Education

Minimum university degree (credits in Social Sciences, Languages, Math, and Business preferred)

Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset

Additional language(s) spoken (e.g., French) is an asset

Experience

Minimum 10 years in a business, school, or professional environment

Experience in an educational setting with medium to large student bodies

Business environment experience valued

Experience with billing cycles required

Strong computer skills (MS Office, online communication apps)

Strong phone skills and customer service experience; sales experience preferred

Salary
$50,000 – $55,000 per year

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm

Saturday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

Timings are non‑negotiable
