Position: EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT
Location: Montreal

As a daycare educator, you support the development and fulfillment of young children. You will assist the educators in setting up stimulating activities, ensure a safe and caring environment, and promote positive social interactions. Your commitment is essential for the well-being and development of young children.

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Work hours: Opening hours of the Garderie LaSalle des petits:
Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Status: On-Call - Temporary

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support educators in the implementation of programs aimed at the overall development of children;

Facilitate various activities;

Prepare and serve snacks;

Set up rooms and furniture for lunch and naps;

Help children develop good eating, toileting and dressing habits;

Ensure the maintenance of daycare equipment and participate in household chores and cooking food;

Discuss children's progress and challenges with other staff;

May assist educators and supervisors with record keeping;

All other related tasks related to early childhood.

REQUIREMENTS

Fluency in English and French, both oral and written, and a third language, an asset:
Portuguese, Mandarin or Spanish;

Flexibility in terms of schedules;

Interest in working with children.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
