Bilingual Vocational Training Teacher

Location: Cowansville

Teach the next generation of skilled trades at the Eastern Townships School Board in Brome-Missisquoi as a Bilingual Vocational Training Teacher. Utilize both digital and in-person instruction methods.

As a teacher at our Vocational Training Centers, you will support adult learners in acquiring practical skills tailored to their career goals. This role involves developing lesson plans and measuring student success to ensure impactful learning experiences. You will teach in a bilingual environment that promotes inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tailor lesson plans to meet adult learner needs

• Deliver interactive, hands-on training sessions

• Monitor and assess student progress effectively

• Cover essential course content and concepts

• Promote a bilingual learning atmosphere in English and French

Requirements:

• Valid Quebec teaching authorization or qualification in progress

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field desired

• Experience in the specialty area is necessary

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Fluent in both English and French for teaching
