As our  Educational & Community Developer , you will be the bridge between cutting‑edge AI innovation and the K‑12 classroom, ensuring that educators and youth have the agency, critical thinking, and skills to thrive in an automated future.

The Role
This is a hybrid “Educator‑Innovator” and “Community Catalyst” role. You will design and scale learning experiences—from digital resources to in‑person workshops—by building strategic partnerships with school boards and education leaders. This role is built for the road; you’ll travel to schools, conferences, and events to ensure AI literacy becomes a practical tool for equity and social impact across the country.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning Experience Design & Facilitation

Design & Iterate:  Create engaging learning projects that bridge traditional coding (Computational Thinking) with emerging AI concepts (Prompt Engineering, LLM fundamentals – Critical Thinking).

Facilitate with Impact:  Lead virtual and in‑person workshops, intensives, and “Learning Communities” for educators and youth (ages 5–30).

Resource Stewardship:  Develop self‑serve materials, educator guides, and job aids that adhere to high pedagogical and inclusive standards.

2. Community Development & Strategic Growth

Opportunity Identification:  Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand educator engagement across school boards, districts, and education networks.

External Representation:  Represent Digital Moment externally in education spaces—including meetings, conferences, and partnerships—acting as a primary connector and ambassador for our programs.

Strategic Partnerships:  Build and maintain positive relationships with educators, school boards, community organizations, and external stakeholders.

Drive Uptake:  Move beyond one‑off interactions to create sustainable, long‑term program adoption within the broader educational ecosystem.

3. Internal Innovation & Research

Stay Ahead:  Maintain working knowledge of GenAI frameworks and their ethical implications (bias, privacy, agency).

Collaborate:  Work cross‑functionally to ensure technical concepts are accessible and empathetic.
