In-Person High School Tutor

Position: In-Person High School Tutor Needed
Location: Montreal West

Join Oxford Learning St Laurent as a part-time tutor for high school math and science students in grades 7-11. Provide engaging, in-person instruction based on well-developed lesson plans.

This role requires you to work after school hours and on Saturdays, offering flexibility and the chance to impact student learning directly. Ideal candidates will have educational qualifications and relevant tutoring experience. You'll utilize your expertise to adhere to the curriculum while cultivating students' academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tutoring for three students of varying levels

• Ensure all teaching methodologies are followed

• Keep thorough post-lesson feedback

• Regularly update families on student attendance and progress

• Foster a professional and engaging learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• CEGEP or bachelor’s degree in an applicable field

• Experience in tutoring math and science for grades 7-11

• Proficient in both French and English languages

• Strong math foundation and multitasking skills

• Commitment through the end of the academic year
