The Faculty of Engineering is looking for a Part-time Professor for the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This role involves teaching the Computer Architecture I course (CEG
2136), covering crucial topics like CPU design, instruction sets, and machine language programming. Applicants should have relevant teaching experience or work background, along with a doctorate in a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop course materials on digital computer architecture
• Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials in person
• Evaluate student performance through assignments and exams
• Maintain communication with students regarding course content
• Ensure adherence to academic guidelines and standards
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license required
• Proven teaching experience in relevant courses
• Ability to teach in English, passive second language
