Learning Business Partner

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Learning Business Partner to join our Human Resources team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will work closely with the organizational development teams of Airbus Canada in Mirabel and Mobile, as well as with the Airbus Group Academies in Europe.
You will be part of the learning solution development team responsible for optimizing, evolving and maintaining the training offer for the A220 program. The team is organized to promote autonomous cross‑functional collaboration, mutual support and collective learning.
Responsibilities- Develop, adapt and/or deliver learning activities for employee populations
- Conduct strategic analysis of training needs to define required learning pathways based on job roles, trades and populations in alignment with Airbus group priorities
- Support functions in creating OJT (On‑Job Training) for health and safety qualifications
- Contribute to the development of integrated annual training plans and the skills management strategy for all employees at the Mirabel site
- Implement and execute actions to ensure training compliance and maintain certifications according to functional requirements
- Support sourcing of external training providers and guide/evaluate external trainers to ensure proper content delivery
- Work closely with various departments, internal clients, union representatives, experts from other sites (Europe, USA, etc.) and workers
- Develop and maintain effective and innovative learning solutions (architecture, content, pedagogical monitoring, cost rationalization)
- Design, propose and develop training pathways consistent with the company's skills development strategy and key stakeholders
- Measure overall performance and effectiveness of learning solutions
- Manage the trainer qualification process (external and internal)
- Participate in validation processes for training compliance
- Manage projects and facilitate networks of experts
- Consult different levels of the organizational hierarchy to identify skills gaps and learning needs in line with the company's and HR's strategy
- University‑level studies in pedagogy, corporate training, organizational development or a related field (adult education, project management, business management) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in learning design/management OR 5 years' experience in learning management
- Proven experience in training management and as a trainer (ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, listening and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain trusted professional relationships
- Ability to influence without authority by engaging people and developing results‑focused action plans
- Ability and interest to work in teams
- Language skills required:
English (Intermediate), French (Advanced) - Comfortable with Google Workspace (asset)
- Experience in change management (asset)
