Shape the future of psychology education at the University of Ottawa as a Teaching Assistant in the PSY Intro course. Take on grading and proctoring responsibilities for the Winter 2027 semester while engaging with students.
In this role, you will need to hold an Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology and be currently enrolled in graduate studies within the same field. Your duties will include preparing materials, grading assignments, and direct student engagement under the supervision of your faculty member. Flexibility for on-campus presence is required to fulfill course obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in grading and evaluation of student work
• Directly support students in their learning journeys
• Conduct proctoring for course-related examinations
• Aid in preparation and training sessions for students
• Liaise with faculty to enhance the course environment
Requirements:
• Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or equivalent
• Active enrollment in MA or PhD Psychology program
• Willingness to attend on-campus events and duties
• Familiarity with teaching assistant tasks and expectations
