Join the OSC as a Team Lead for the Adult Crossing Guard program in Kanata/Stittsville. This position guarantees a flexible work schedule, supporting student safety throughout school hours.
You will take charge of supervising crossings, provide urgent support, and train new personnel in this part-time role. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with management and implementing safety measures effectively. The contract period extends from September to June.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and conduct Adult Crossing Guard duties
• Offer training and development for guards in the field
• Connect with teams to manage urgent operational needs
• Perform site visits to assess guard performance
• Distribute necessary equipment and training materials
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Drivers license with access to a vehicle
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Certification in Standard First Aid with CPR C
• Must complete Police Records Check successfully
• Ability to work outside in various conditions
