Position: Secondary Teacher for Special Education
Location: Cowansville

Massey-Vanier High School is hiring a part-time Secondary Teacher specializing in Special Education, with a focus on WOTP and Autonomy. This is a rewarding role in a supportive learning environment.

Set to start on August 25, 2026, and lasting until June 29, 2027, the position combines teaching in Physical Education and Science with active involvement in student success. You'll engage with diverse learners, utilizing your skill set to create effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of every student. Proven teaching experience and relevant academic qualifications are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach subjects in Special Education including WOTP and Autonomy

• Create diverse lesson plans for Phys Ed and Science

• Monitor and assess student learning progress

• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture

• Collaborate with other educators for student support

Requirements:

• Hold or pursue valid Quebec teaching authorization

• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Teaching at a Quebec university

• Relevant bachelor's degree in a related discipline

• Experience with young learners or adults in education

• Appropriate evaluations for foreign diplomas as necessary
