Finish by volunteering as a mentor in the Running & Reading Club in Vanier, Ontario. Help Grades 1-6 children cultivate a love for reading and stay active in a fun environment.

As a mentor, you will contribute two hours weekly, assisting students aged 6-13 through enriching activities that promote literacy and self-confidence. This volunteer opportunity aims to create positive relationships and a supportive community among children and mentors alike. Experience is not required as there are various roles to accommodate different interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in fun physical activities with club members

• Provide personalized reading sessions for kids

• Serve healthy snacks to encourage nutrition

• Lead interactive literacy games and activities

Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old

• Commitment to a background check

• Comfort with commuting to the location

• Adherence to the volunteer code of conduct
