The Ottawa Catholic School Board invites applications for a Long Term Occasional teacher in Grade
5. This is an opportunity to make a difference while covering a teacher on leave.
Applicants must be registered with the Ontario College of Teachers and have successfully completed the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training. You will be expected to maintain educational continuity and adapt to the needs of students in this transitional assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging lessons tailored to Grade 5 learners
• Monitor and support student academic growth
• Create an inclusive classroom environment
• Coordinate with colleagues for student support
• Engage with parents and guardians regarding student performance
Requirements:
• Certification in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Completed necessary training for sexual abuse prevention
• Passionate about diversity in education
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Flexibility to fulfill the LTO assignment
Elevate Grade 5 education while working with the Ottawa Catholic School Board.
