As part of the Continuing Education team, the LINC Instructor delivers ESL instruction focusing on adult learners, including newcomers and government-assisted refugees. You’ll adapt your teaching for learners with disabilities and teach across various OCDSB locations, ensuring a personalized learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ESL instruction to diverse adult learners
• Adapt lessons for learners with disabilities
• Deliver classes at elementary and high school sites
Requirements:
• TESL Ontario Certification is mandatory
• Knowledge of adult education and Canadian Language Benchmarks
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse communities
• Ability to maintain all required certifications
