Position: Instructional Designer for Learning Solutions
Elevate learning experiences with Commissionaires as an Instructional Designer in Ottawa, Ontario. Create engaging content for various teaching formats while collaborating with subject matter experts.

This full-time role reports to the Manager of the Learning Centre. You will design instructional materials aligned with adult education principles and organizational goals. Your creativity will help enhance the quality of both in-person and online learning experiences across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design instructional content for multiple learning formats

• Conduct learner needs assessments and define objectives

• Create accessible and user-focused learning materials

• Write scripts and storyboard engaging multimedia content

• Collaborate with experts to align training with goals

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of instructional design experience

• Proficient in Articulate, Moodle, and Microsoft 365

• Strong writing and multimedia content development skills

• Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI standards

• Ability to analyze performance data to enhance learning
