Position: French Tutor for Grades 1-11 Opportunity
Location: Dollard-des-Ormeaux

Boost students’ French skills at Oxford Learning Dollard des Ormeaux as a passionate part-time French tutor.

This role offers an empowering environment to facilitate language learning through personalized support.

Candidates will teach students from Grade 1 to 11, focusing on effective academic and study skills. You’ll work in small groups with a focus on communicating in French while adhering to structured lesson plans. Commitment to teaching through the school year and potentially during summer is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach groups of up to three students at varying levels

• Deliver focused lessons in French, online and in-person

• Implement Oxford Learning's educational strategies

• Complete follow-up notes and student updates post-lesson

• Support a welcoming and respectful learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• CEGEP or Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Teaching certification as a strong asset

• Familiarity with the French curriculum

• Proficient communication skills in French and English

• Capability to handle multiple students effectively
