Lead transformative engineering education as the Director of the Engineering Design Program at Northeastern University. Drive innovative curriculum development and foster industry partnerships to prepare students for real-world challenges.

This crucial leadership position at the Oakland campus requires visionary oversight of a new Bachelor of Science in Engineering Design program. You will create an AI-fluent, interdisciplinary curriculum that bridges engineering, human-centered design, and entrepreneurial thinking. Engage with faculty and industry to ensure that graduates are ready for industry roles from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and launch the Engineering Design program by Fall 2027

• Establish industry partnerships for project and curriculum co-development

• Oversee co-op placements and experiential learning initiatives

• Manage day-to-day program operations and uphold academic standards

• Lead marketing and outreach strategies to promote the program

Requirements:

• PhD in engineering or closely related field

• Minimum 5 years in academic leadership or industry partnership

• Proven experience in crafting AI-integrated learning models

• Familiarity with learning management and co-op systems

• Record of managing budgets within a self-supporting model
