Secondary ELA & History Educator

Position: Secondary ELA & History Educator Role
Location: Cowansville

Teach English Language Arts and History at Massey-Vanier High School on a full-time, replacement contract basis. This position is available from August 25, 2026, to January 2027.

We are seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to guide students in ELA Cycle 1, History, and CCQ. Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Teaching program at a Quebec university or possess a Quebec teaching certificate. Relevant experience in educational settings is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in ELA and History subjects

• Develop evaluation methods for assessing student learning

• Provide individualized support to diverse learners

• Collaborate with faculty for interdisciplinary initiatives

• Participate in ongoing training and educational workshops

Requirements:

• Quebec teaching authorization (or enrollment in progress)

• Proof of enrollment in a relevant teaching program

• Relevant bachelor's degree in a related field

• Prior experience in education preferred

• Evaluate foreign diplomas for equivalency if applicable
