Join BGC Central Vancouver Island as an Early Childhood Educator specializing in infants and toddlers. Contribute your expertise in a full-time role focused on nurturing children aged birth to 3 in Courtenay, BC.
As an ECE-IT, you'll excel in supporting early developmental milestones and creating enriching environments for infants and toddlers. Collaborating closely with families, you will personalize care and implement curricula that foster individual growth. This position is ideal for passionate educators who value both educational excellence and family involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer specialized guidance on routines, nutrition, and sleep habits
• Plan and evaluate activities that support developmental growth
• Collaborate with therapists for inclusive practice and individual needs
• Communicate with families about their child's milestones
• Ensure safety and compliance in documentation requirements
Requirements:
• Approved ECE-IT Certification in BC
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Experience in Community Care Licensed facilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Eligibility to work legally in Canada
