Massey-Vanier High School Science Teacher

Location: Cowansville

Join Massey-Vanier High School as a Secondary Science Teacher for Cycle 1 from August 25, 2026, to June 29, 2027. This position is part-time with a 70% workload.

We are looking for a qualified science teacher to engage students in their learning journey. Candidates must possess a valid Quebec teaching certificate or be on their way to obtaining one. A related bachelor’s degree and enrollment in a teaching degree program is essential for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct Cycle 1 students in science concepts

• Assess and report on student achievement

• Collaborate with fellow educators on curriculum delivery

• Promote inquiry-based learning among students

• Ensure a positive and inclusive classroom setting

Requirements:

• Valid Quebec teaching certificate or in progress

• Proof of enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's teaching program

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Experience in educational settings preferred

• Required evaluation for foreign diplomas if applicable
