The First Nation School Board seeks a Land and Language Connector to enhance education through culturally responsive practices. This position involves collaborating with school staff and community members to weave Northern Tutchone language into classroom programming. The goal is to support students' identity and connection to the land while fostering successful educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate Northern Tutchone language in school curriculum
• Collaborate with Selkirk First Nation members and Elders
• Create land-based learning experiences for students
• Foster relationships between students, staff, and community
• Support culturally responsive teaching practices

• Experience building trusting community partnerships
