Early Learning Coordinator at Sturgeon Public Schools

Location: Montreal

Lead Early Learning initiatives with Sturgeon Public Schools as a Coordinator dedicated to high-quality Pre-K education. Support directors and teachers in responsive programming tailored for young learners.

In this pivotal role, you'll bring expertise to Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, and PUF programming across the Division. Collaborate with educators and community partners to ensure developmentally appropriate practices while staying current with research. Your leadership will enhance the learning environment for children and support staff’s professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide divisional leadership in Pre-K and PUF programming

• Coordinate design, implementation, and improvement of Pre-K initiatives

• Ensure consistent, responsive practices across schools

• Offer ongoing support and coaching for educational staff

• Cultivate relationships between families and Pre-K programs

Requirements:

• Alberta Teaching Certification

• Master's Degree in Education preferred

• Five or more years in early childhood education

• Knowledge of Alberta’s PUF requirements

• Strong communication and collaborative skills
