Become a Secondary FSL Teacher at Massey-Vanier High School, focusing on French as a Second Language for Cycle 1 and 2 students. Help nurture their language abilities.
Effective August 25, 2026, this full-time contract position requires a valid Quebec teaching certification or equivalent enrollment in a teaching program. Candidates should ideally have a relevant bachelor's degree and experience in youth education. You'll play an integral role in empowering students through language acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in Cycle 1 and 2 FSL
• Develop tailored lesson plans and educational materials
• Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents
• Monitor and report on student performance
Requirements:
• Valid Quebec teaching authorization or relevant enrollment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Previous experience with youth education
• Required evaluation for foreign teaching qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
