The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) is seeking a qualified teacher on a long-term assignment to cover for a staff member on leave. Ideally suited for educators in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, this role supports over 50,000 students. You will engage with diverse classrooms while adhering to Catholic principles and fostering a strong community spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging English lessons for Grades 4 and 6
• Develop and adapt curriculum based on student needs
• Administer assessments and provide feedback
• Collaborate with staff to enhance student experiences
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Good standing with Ontario College of Teachers
• Completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with diverse student populations
