Position: Program Assistant for Sexual Violence Response
Location: Montreal

Support impactful initiatives at McGill University as a Program Assistant in the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education. Help raise awareness and prevent sexual and gender-based violence on campus while coordinating workshops and events.

This part-time position under the Sexual Violence Education Advisor aims to engage students with vital educational resources. As part of a team, you will train volunteers and coordinate workshops focused on consent and bystander intervention. You’ll be instrumental in gathering data for effective event planning and outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate impactful workshops on support strategies

• Coordinate events and outreach activities effectively

• Communicate with university partners and stakeholders

• Summarize planning and evaluation information

• Lead and train a team of volunteers

Requirements:

• Returning student in an undergraduate or graduate program

• Eligible for McGill's Work Study Program

• Own laptop/device with social media access

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Interest or experience in sexual violence prevention
